Where are all of the Quarter-Life Friends?
I just had a look at the MySpace page for the lead character on Quarterlife expecting her/it to have a gazillion friends but so far it appears they have only 381. Not bad by a normal human standard, but shouldn’t there be more for all the attention this show is getting? She hasn’t logged in in two days so maybe there are tons that haven’t been officially added yet.

Rocketboom Sponsored by Adobe
Today Rocketboom begins another very cool advertising sponsorship via our ad partner Blip.tv. Overlay banner ads will appear on all Rocketboom flash files for the highest CPM earning in our history.
The month-long campaign for Adobe, a company I’m very proud to have sponsor us, is ideal because the advertising will only exist on our flash distribution. Therefore, our audience can still enjoy Rocketboom advertising-free on all of our additional video file formats.

NTV Live Panel: New Studios and Talent Agencies « NewTeeVee
I wish I could of taken-up the panel invite for the NewTeeVee conference this week but alas, Im in Berlin for the Best of the Blogs.
Participants at the conference were asked to vote on which network was the most likely to succeed. Since the audience was full of people who are really plugged into this topic matter, I find the results compelling:
While not surprised to see Next New Networks at only %13 percent, its interesting to see that Sony’s Crackle was rated so low.
The audience expected Blip to be the most successful by two times. My Mom always said I know how to pick ‘em.

A California man filed suit in state court Tuesday against internet service provider Comcast, arguing that the company’s secret use of technology to limit peer-to-peer applications such as BitTorrent violates federal computer fraud laws, their user contracts and anti-fraudulent advertising statutes.

Head of Warner Music: we were wrong to go to war with consumers
“We used to fool ourselves,’ he said. "We used to think our content was perfect just exactly as it was. We expected our business would remain blissfully unaffected even as the world of interactivity, constant connection and file sharing was exploding. And of course we were wrong. How were we wrong? By standing still or moving at a glacial pace, we inadvertently went to war with consumers by denying them what they wanted and could otherwise find and as a result of course, consumers won.”
